You as a player: When I was younger on one of my first ever games i got scouted for Sheffield united, I then spent a successful 4 years a the club i enjoyed it but just didn't feel like it was right. I then took a step down in to Sunday league where I only played a few games before getting scouted for Chesterfield. when i first arrived at chesterfield i was full of confidence and playing on top of my game, I was also playing 1 sometimes 2 years above my age group. However when I got to under 14/15s I was really enjoying playing back but they said to me that they felt that I had potential on LM but i felt like i was playing really well left back so they decided to release me. This really gave me a huge knock in my confidence and i felt like i didn't want to play anymore but i got back playing with my mates which then gave me an opportunity to play in a international tournament in Spain which we came out as winners and that was one of the best experiences of my footballing life. not to long after that i seen that Matlock town was offering a football course where you also got an education and to me it was a no brainer that was what i wanted to do because i still wanted to play football at a good level and if football didn't work out i wanted something to fall back on which the education gave me that but no i am nearly at the end of my two years and i feel like its time to start looking at new and other paths like america. in my time at Matlock i have won the Blackpool cup, went t Amsterdam to play in a tournament which we just fell short in the semi final.i also broke into the reserve team after working hard to do so, this gave me my first experience in mens football at just the age of 16 which was good for me, i then went out on-loan to another mens team to get minutes and regular playing time which i took advantage of and starting finding dome very good form, i have now been called back up to the Matlock reserve side where i am looking to get back and be a regular in the squad.
